Back from the Adventures

Well, last night Cruz Grandma and I arrived just 40min late into LAX from Dallas. The airport wasn't as bad as I expected. Perhaps everyone else also watched the news and knew to not put any liquids in their carry-ons. Actually I should't say everyone as there was one lady who somehow managed to not listen to the 900 announcements about the new security measures or read the 80 papers posted ever couple of feet in the airport and she must have stepped over the giant bins where people were disposing of water bottles and other liquids before heading through security. She also must have plugged her ears as she checked in and they told her the new rules and perhaps threw away the paper they handed you as you drove into the airport because she was mighty hot when they confiscated her lotion, toothpaste and some sort of smell good spray.

After a semi-smooth flight where we were served no peanuts or snacks of any kind, we headed with the parentals to In-N-Out. Never tasted so good. We made sure to stay up extra late to help in the time adjustment but wouldn't you know it Cruz and I were both up by 7:30am right on schedule for grandma's wake up call for the continental breakfast.

So today was filled with errands. We went to target got photo albums and some other much needed items. Then it was over to Gigante for some snacks, which would only make us miss Mexico even more. After this we came back and went for a run in the heat of the afternoon in order to try and get some color back. We then showered and got the hair trimmed before heading to a bigger target and getting what the other was out of. Now its time for ribs and then a movie with the parentals!
